About Us
Hi! I'm Parth and I can't live a mundane life. Hence, I created Shrinkray Studio!
Shrinkray Studio was born from a very specific cocktail of child-like wonder and pure, unadulterated spite.
I looked around at the world of collectibles and saw plenty of plastic superheroes and space marines. But where was the high-fidelity art for the things that actually shape our souls? Where was the tribute to the corner eatery that’s been fueling your mornings for a decade, or the iconic quirks of the streets we call home?
It seemed so obvious that no one was making these that I eventually hit a breaking point. I pulled a "fine, I’ll do it myself" and started miniaturizing the world as I saw it.
At Shrinkray, we aren't just making "toys" or "miniatures." We are in the business of physically manifesting collective memories.
Whether it's a centuries-old historical artifact, a specific city landmark, or your childhood home, if it has character, it belongs on a pedestal.
We take the intangible—that "I know this place" feeling—and turn it into a physical, high-detail reality.
We refuse to be put in a box (unless it’s a very small, highly detailed box). Our palette is wide:
-
City Icons : Miniaturizing the very character of a city - its roads, boards, public vehicles, homes, eateries, buildings and even manhole covers (because why not?)
-
Culture Icons: From the most popular monuments to the ones labelled hidden gems on the gram, we love miniaturising old places, forts, palaces, statues, murals and museum objects.Â
-
Your Icons: For everything you call your own - Your home, your school, your favourite places and objects - all can be taken up as custom projects and miniaturised.
Why Do We Do It?Â
Shrinkray Studio is a vehicle to create wonderful, tiny things and—hopefully— a means for me to not have to get a "real" job.
My goal is for my work to bring a smile to your face. But honestly? If you look at one of our pieces and a tiny, nostalgic tear hits the floor alongside that smile, then I’ve really done my job.
"Because the world is too big, and your favorite memories deserve to fit in the palm of your hand." - probably one of Gemini or ChatGPT, can't remember.
